The Shimmering Premonition

At seventeen, Myrine Adelstein’s biggest concern should be the heritage of the Silken Oak wine estate. However, the air around her has begun to vibrate with a dangerous frequency only she could hear. An evil force has invaded Silken Oak. Following her intuition she rushes home along the well-known path through the woods. But something has changed and the woods no longer welcomed her. Arriving at Grandma’s house, violet clouds darkened the sky, unleashing streaks of ozone layered lightning bolts tearing through the sky. The girl who once feared her supernatural powers, must now face a destiny where, if she was to survive, she would have to use them. From her hiding place behind a silken oak tree trunk, Myrine watches as an unwelcome and uninvited evil dark force member comes out the backdoor of Grandma’s house.
