Chapter 18: The Charging Nest

To truly evade the Dark Forces on Betwonium and reach the exit portal to the next planet, Myrine must strike at the Brunkai’s Charging Nest. This is a massive hive where the Brunkai are infused with raw energy overnight. Inside the Nest is a violent swirl of ozone and Mystic Violet sparks. Myrine is forced to hide and wait as a Betwonium soldier is in a meeting with Fanisius, the Brunkai controller. Time is getting short, testing Myrine’s patience. She had to destroy the controller, rendering the dangerous Brunkai useless, to avoid them pursuing her and Rollandario to the exit portal.
