Chapter 10: The Brunkai Hunt

Silently, the Brunkai crossed over the crystalline river. They keep their poison-carrying vine tendrils folded close to their coconut-shaped bodies filled with dark circuitry, until they reach Myrine. Unfolding their tendrils, they capture Myrine, spraying her with Dragon’s breath, rendering her comatose. She is brought before Beldarius, the Ruler of the Betwonium army. With him is Dr Dreckonium, an architect of the shadow rebellion. In the presence of this formidable enemy, Myrine realizes the true scale of the war between the Light and Dark Forces.
