Chapter 17: Sabotaging the Brunkai

Justice in Betwonium requires more than just intent; it requires a surgical strike against the enemy’s infrastructure. Rollandario imparts to Myrine the details of the Brunkai next with its charging pods, drawing a rough sketch. They would need the dangerous fruit from the Tree of Eternal Sleep to disable Fanisius, their controller. To infiltrate the Brunkai nesting hub is a high-stakes race against a digital clock as the troops of the Betownium Army begin to close in. Myrine must remain perfectly still amidst the chaos. One slip, and the sabotage becomes a suicide mission.
