Chapter 20: Darkness Overthrown

The sabotage pays off in a spectacular display of energy and iron. As Myrine triggers the final frequency, the Charging Nest fractures, sending plumes of brilliant violet smoke throughout the nest. The Brunkai enforcers, once a terrifying army, slump into inert piles as their power sources fail. In the resulting chaos, Myrine and Rollandario slip away to Rollandario’s secret hiding place. Guided by Aedric during a telepathic conversation, Myrine hides the whereabouts of the Infinity Charm in a mind chamber no one but herself can breach. It is a victory for logic over tyranny, proving that the Sentinel’s mind is the most powerful weapon in the realm.
