Chapter 13: The Interrogation

Finding Aedric in the dungeon was the start of the true psychological warfare which began in earnest as Myrine was taken back to Beldarius. The dining room became an interrogation chamber. Verbal attacks are launched at Myrine by both Beldarius and Eugenia, both obsessed with the “Infinity Charm.” The air in the room is thick with the scent of old resentments as aunt and niece face off. Eugenia demands the whereabouts of the Infinity Charm, using a mixture of threats and twisted psychological warfare. Myrine, however, uses her years of training to navigate the interrogation, realising that the “truth” is her only leverage. Myrine must protect the hidden whereabouts of the Infinity Charm, the last hope of the Light Forces to survive, at all costs.
